hello all admins.
currently there are 6 incorrect guesses for hangman.
i would like to increase the number of guesses to 10
here is wy i want like to increase the number.
to find more correct letters.
OK. shall we also:
1. Let people have two or three guesses on Trivia so they can have a better chance of finding the right answer?
2. Increase the guesses on Blingo to, say, 20 to increase the chances of finding the correct word?
3. Allow 48 hours instead of 24 on anagram Mania so users have a better chance at guessing all the anagrams?
Sorry, but these are games. there has to be some challenge to them, or they wouldn't be games. they would be just giving points away.
yes, i agray but 6 is still to small to get chances to find the correct letter, but in blingo 2.0 you can change your game difficulty to beginner or advanced.
you have 7 guesses in beginner mode, and 5 in advanced. but in the last mode the advanced mode the game will penalise a guess if the word is not in the dictionary.
for trivia users i have a very inportant tip:
search for the correct answers on the web will help a litle
here is the trick
just search the question on google search box by typing in the question without the ? mark after the question just hit enter and see what happens.
hmm.
first off, searching the ansers to the questions in trivia totally defeats the object of the game, and makes it boring because you're always going to know the ansers. where's the fun in that.
secondly, lol at your post jess. those ideas you have are very extreme:d
and thirdly, i see nothing wrong with 6 guesses
hangman is quite an easy game, and once you have 1 or 2 letters you can think about the word before guessing the next letter
not really sure about a difficulty level setting. maybe we should have 1, for the simple reason that blingo has 1
Yeah. Just saying, my point is that the games need to have a challenge factor, especially games that are free to play.
Dan, there's still a bit of challenge to looking up trivia on the web, because, well, not everybody is going to know the answer to every question, and you still have to look at the web and find the right answer. You'll still find misinformation, like anything else, not to mention all the results that don't even match. In a way, it's kind of like a scavenger hunt. You'll eventually find your answer, as long as you know where to look. Maybe there should be a time limit, though, just to put a little more pressure on to find the right answer before the time runs out and you lose your bet.
